Russian UFO

A very interesting UFO event, supported by 60 minutes of video from which these stills were obtained. Only questions; no answers.
I recently bought a DVD on newly-released Russian UFO files. It's moderated by Roger Moore and has a lot of film footage of strange stuff seen over Russia. An exceptional event is what appears to be a crashed UFO in a forest in 1969. It's a circular object maybe 20 feet in diameter and is half-buried.

The odd thing is that this film itself doesn't give any appearance of being a hoax. It's just a bunch of dumb-looking soldiers milling around in the snow and cold, and not really knowing what to do. The UFO is under guard, sort of, and the two trucks full of soldiers are waiting for some official to appear.

There's a large truck-mounted film movie camera and a smaller hand-held tripod one, and the DVD has about 20 minutes of film on this object. For sure, it appears to be made of metal, and this isn't out of focus like most UFO shots. It's all clear and you can see lots of detail. Really interesting.

The film began with the land camera panning the area, and then showed the arrival of the soldiers who seemingly had no clear idea of what to do.  It seemed obvious they were there to guard this thing, but there was no threat so they really had nothing to do except shiver in the cold.

Roger Moore and some experts were commenting on the film and said it seemed authentic and not any kind of training film or anything sensible. And they said the film cans and the film appeared to all be genunine and had KGB markings all over them with lots of date and other identification. And they all said it seemed sort of useless as a hoax film because all it appeared to be was the recording of some soldiers standing around, waiting. Strange.

The video had shots of this from many angles, including good clear close-ups. But I've learned no more about it.  It was extraordinary in the way it seemed to indicate that soldiers had found something quite unusual.

I was looking around some military photo websites and found a few stills from this video. I'm attaching them to this email because I thought you might like to see them.
