Welcome to Maggie's
Bear Choir Musical Tour !
Words fail us when we try to communicate the affection and admiration that we hold for our little Bears and their music.  We hope that by taking you through this brief musical tour, we can infect you with some of our enthusiasm and give you some appreciation of the range and quality of Bear Choir music.

We want to share some of our favourite selections with you , and hope you will then understand why we tell you that this is absolutely the finest Chinese children's music produced in the world today.

The Delicious Voice
This is simply the most delicious little child's voice that we have ever heard.
(Little Kindergarten Vol. 1)
The Huggable Voice
Here is a little voice so loveable you'll want to hug the kid who owns it.
(TV Songs Vol. 4)

The Reverent Voice
A sad song, to the tune of 'My Darling Clementine.  There is a sadness, a poignancy, and a reverence, in this little voice that astonishes us.  We've heard it a hundred times, but we still marvel at this child's gifted emotional expressions.
(Little Kindergarten Vol. 1)
The Big Voice
Children's voices are often quite small and thin, but we have a little Pavarotti here - Jeannie at 5 years old.  This kid can hold a note at full throttle without a hint of a waver.  Turn up the volume, and she'll blow out your windows.
(Little Kindergarten Vol. 1)

A Little Voice and a Big Voice
This is a beautiful, beautiful song.  More sweet harmony.
(TV Songs Series Vol. 1)
The Pretty Voice
Cymie Chan, one of our little stars.  A pretty voice and a pretty song.
(Little Kindergarten Vol. 2)

The Perfect Duet
Cymie Chan and Alice Yip.  Perfect partners-in-crime.  These two voices were made for each other.
(Sunny Day)
Sweet Harmony
This is what happens when you're lucky enough to have 120 gifted little voices from which to choose 3 or 4.
(Little Kindergarten Vols. 2, 3, 4)

Ridin' the Trail
Do you like Country & Western music? Click the button anyway.  This one is too good to miss.  Turn up the volume, too.
(Little Kindergarten Vol. 6)
A Touching Lullabye
Sung by Josie, our choir director, and some small Bears.  This one touches our heart every time we hear it.
(Little Kindergarten Vol. 3)

Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies (a.k.a. Little Hamsters)
Well, not real hamsters, maybe, but....  A medley of sounds by our little Bears 'hamming it up' in story and song.  They won prizes for these, and you'll see why.
(Funny Stories Vols. 1 to 3)

Adorable Instrumentals for Adorable Babies
Arranged and conducted especially for your 3-month-old new arrival.  A medley of a few favourites.
(Baby Music Box, Vols. 1 to 4)
. and Classical Inspiration for every Little Kid
Give your 6-year-old a choice between The Rolling Stones and Beethoven, and he'll choose Beethoven every time.
(Il Piccolo Musicante, Vols. 1 to 3)

A Musical Taste Treat
Well, we didn't know what else to call it. "Jingle Bells" in Cantonese is a treat.
(Ding Ding Dong)
A Rose by any other Name ...
And "Silent Night" in Cantonese is still Silent Night.
(Ding Ding Dong)

Well, that's it, and we hope that you've enjoyed our little musical tour.  Thank you for taking the time to let us share our music with you.   But you know, we've hardly scratched the surface.  You've heard only 20 song clips out of more than 2,000 songs.

We have a dozen CDs of beautiful classical instrumentals, over 20 CDs of children's pop songs and nursery songs, 20 CDs of lovely songs and music for learning English, Mandarin and Cantonese. We have CDs with Chinese Literature and Culture, Children's Stories and Folk Songs, Christmas Carols, New Year's songs.  We have TV Songs, Cartoon Songs, English Nursery Rhymes, English Folk Songs........  We wish that you could hear all of it.
